Yesterday, March 4, the Belarusian National Technical University announced the results of the competition for the best department for the 2024-2025 academic year. The ceremonial meeting brought together representatives of faculties and departments whose daily work shapes the success of the entire university.
The meeting was opened by Irina Vakhtina, Chair of the BNTU Primary Trade Union. Addressing those present, Irina Vakhtina noted that the competition is not only a summary of the results but also an opportunity to see the overall performance of the university team, evaluate the contribution of each department, and set new benchmarks.
Continuing the discussion on the competition's importance for the university's development, Oleg Gusev, BNTU Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, emphasized that the competition has long since become more than just an annual tradition, but an effective mechanism for evaluating performance and an incentive for further professional growth.
Oleg Kunevich, Head of the Human Resources Department, announced the competition results. He congratulated the winners and recognized the departments that demonstrated high performance in academic, organizational, and social activities.

Summing up the results of the competition, Sergey Vasilyevich emphasized the significance of the work accomplished and the high level of results achieved:
– Last year was declared the Year of Quality in our country, and the winning units clearly demonstrated this quality in their work. This is our work, our responsibility, and our identity. It is particularly noteworthy that this year's competition was truly unique: first place was shared by two leaders with virtually identical scores. This demonstrates the high standard set by the units. At the same time, it is important that all teams strive for these results, strengthen their work, and actively strive to achieve the best. Trade unions also play a significant role in this process, actively stimulating development and helping teams reach new heights.
