To Our Dear, Beloved Women! A Festive Concert Held at BNTU for Women's Day

«Вам, дорогие, любимые!» В БНТУ состоялся праздничный концерт ко Дню женщин

Today, on March 5th, the foyer of the second floor of the main building of the Belarusian National Technical University was transformed into a cozy concert venue. The BNTU Department of Culture prepared a festive concert titled "To You, Our Dear, Beloved Women!" for the female students, teachers, and staff.

The event was opened by Dmitry Kuchinsky, a member of the "Harmony" creative group of the BNTU Department of Culture and a laureate of republican competitions. He masterfully performed the composition "Carousel" on the accordion, which made the audience smile and forget the daily hustle and bustle.

Following the performance, Timur Matyushinets, Vice-Rector for Ideological and Educational Work at BNTU, delivered a welcoming speech. On behalf of all the men of the university, he congratulated the lovely ladies:

Dear girls of the Belarusian National Technical University, students, teachers, and staff, allow me, on behalf of the BNTU leadership, to congratulate you on this bright spring holiday. Your gaze gives hope, your smiles inspire, your words motivate action. At work, you are professionals in your field; at home, you are caring daughters, loving wives, and mothers. Allow me to once again congratulate you on International Women's Day and wish you success, health, love, more compliments, and flowers.

The baton of congratulations was taken up by Nikita Avgustinovich, a cadet from the Military-Technical Faculty. The young man sang with such sincerity that the audience was once again convinced that courage and romance can indeed coexist. A particularly touching moment was the performance by Nadezhda Kobyak, a soloist of the vocal-pop studio "Enamored Soul." The girl performed a heartfelt song about a mother.

The theme of motherhood and feminine wisdom continued with an original poem by Yulia Kalenkovich, a student of the Faculty of Management Technologies and Humanitarization. In her self-penned poem, she created the image of a hardworking, generous, and strong-spirited woman who, from time immemorial, has preserved the traditions of the Belarusian land. Iziebeafe-Abache Treasure Anurim, a student of the Faculty of International Cooperation and a saxophonist, gave the audience a bright and creative performance, reminding everyone that beauty and respect for women know no national boundaries.

A pleasant highlight of the concert was the performance by Andrei Tyavlovsky, a poet, translator, member of the Union of Writers of Belarus, and Associate Professor of the Department of Information and Measurement Equipment and Technologies at the Instrumentation Engineering Faculty. His poems, recited with deep feeling, became a true anthem to women — to the one who inspires men to great deeds, elevates their souls, and fills life with meaning. The program continued with Nikita Yanovich, a cadet from the Military-Technical Faculty, who performed the song "Father's House" ("Khata batskoǔ"), evoking memories of the parental home, the source of comfort and warmth, and the first joys and childhood memories that live in everyone's heart.

The concert concluded with a performance by Anton Kramich, a soloist from the "Enamored Soul" studio, singing the song "Just Give It" ("Prosto podari"). The audience rewarded all the performers with thunderous applause.

Dear women, you are a source of inspiration, love, and warmth. May every day of your life be filled with happiness, care, and attention. We wish you good health and the fulfillment of all your cherished desires. And remember, your smiles make this world brighter. Happy Spring Holiday!
