Triathlon is a competition where athletes compete in performing three exercises with a barbell: squats, bench press, and deadlift. The athlete's goal is to lift the maximum weight in each movement. The total of the results determines the athlete's overall strength.
However, for the format of the student tournament in the dormitory, the rules were adapted. To evaluate prize places and determine the winners, results from only two disciplines were used: the bench press and the deadlift. The sum of the results in these lifts determined the strongest athletes in their respective weight categories.
The competition was an excellent opportunity for students to demonstrate their will to win and to promote a healthy lifestyle among the student community.
The competition was held in four weight categories, where each participant vied for the title of the strongest in their weight class. The competition was fierce, but in the end, clear leaders emerged.

Such tournaments are important not only for identifying the strongest athletes but also for uniting the student body. The competition in Dormitory No. 8 showed that the Instrumentation Engineering Faculty of BNTU is renowned not only for its bright minds but also for its strong physiques.
