Today, February 28, Sports Complex No. 1 and the stadium of the Belarusian National Technical University became a center of attraction for fans of an active lifestyle. The university hosted the annual sports festival "Health Day at BNTU–2026," which brought together university employees, students, and guests.
A welcoming speech to the participants was given by the Vice-Rector for Ideological and Educational Work, Timur Matyushinets, who congratulated everyone on the holiday and declared the sports day open.

The culmination of the first part of the event was the awards ceremony for the winners and prize-winners of the BNTU Employees' Spartakiad for the 2025–2026 academic year.

In a fierce competition throughout the academic year, the strongest faculties in the overall standings of the Spartakiad were determined:

After the official part of the opening ceremony and the awarding of the participants of the Employees' Spartakiad, exciting competitions in four disciplines unfolded on the sports grounds of the complex and the stadium: darts, biathlon, basketball, and tug-of-war. The athletes demonstrated not only physical fitness but also a true team spirit.

In darts, participants competed in accuracy, trying to hit the target precisely. The biathlon proved to be no less spectacular, where the participants showed endurance in running and accuracy in hitting the target.

The basketball battles gave the spectators many bright moments. The teams demonstrated tactical schemes, precise passes, and beautiful shots into the basket. The most emotional and noisy type of the program was tug-of-war, where unity and willpower played a decisive role.

Throughout the day, a field kitchen from the Primary Trade Union Organization of BNTU Employees and Students operated for the guests of the holiday. Everyone could refresh themselves with hot pancakes and warm up with aromatic tea. The sports competitions harmoniously alternated with concert performances, which created a truly warm and festive atmosphere even on the last day of winter.
Following the results of the competitions, the winners were determined:
