Today, on February 28, the Minsk City Roller Ski Track in Vesnyanka hosted the III stage of the republican sports and mass event - the All–Belarusian Student Ski Run – 2026. The competition, which brought together participants from different institutions of higher education, became a real celebration of youth, health and team spirit. The BNTU national team traditionally took part in the competitions.

The event was officially launched by honored guests: Alexander Kadlubai, Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus, and Alexander Baraulya, Deputy Minister of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus. Welcoming the participants, they noted the high level of organization and wished the students successful starts.

The program of the day was intense, including both professional relay races and mass races. The most intense and spectacular moment was the student race, where our guys fought for every second of the race, demonstrating excellent technique and endurance.

According to the results of the relay, the BNTU team took the honorable second place. The students showed excellent teamwork and a real will to win, confirming the high level of athletic training at our university. Immediately after the finish, an award ceremony was held, where the participants were awarded well-deserved awards to the applause of the fans.

Svetlana Kovel, Head of the Sports Department at BNTU, shared her impressions of the team's performance.:
– This year's event has become even more ambitious. The BNTU national team always strives for high results, and today we have once again confirmed our high level by taking the prize. For our university, this is not just a competition, but a good tradition and a real celebration of health.

The festive atmosphere at the venue was complemented by a cultural program. Performances by creative teams and vocalists supported the morale of the participants and gave positive emotions to all the guests of the event. Being among the invited performers, the vocalists of the BNTU Department of Cultural Affairs summed up their numbers and participants.

The sports festival was supported by representatives of the university administration, as well as university teachers. One of the best results, according to fellow teachers, was demonstrated by Associate Professor of the Marketing Department Sergey Kharitonovich. It is worth noting that this stage was carried out without taking into account time: it was not sports records that came to the fore, but a personal example in promoting a healthy lifestyle and commitment to active recreation.

The sports festival ended with a mass 3 km race, in which everyone could take part. Congratulations to our athletes with the well-deserved silver medal and thanks to everyone who represented BNTU on the track today and supported the team in the stands!
