Yesterday, on February 26, the assembly hall of the 11th building of the BNTU was filled with incredible energy, because the vocal and variety studio "Loving Soul" celebrated its 20th anniversary with a festive concert.
The evening began with the song "Million Voices", which was performed by all the studio participants, immediately setting the bar high for the celebration. Natalia Penyaz, Head of the Department of Cultural Affairs and head of the band, warmly welcomed the full hall, noting that not only current soloists, but also graduates of previous years met on the stage today.
Alexander Pasko, an old friend of the studio, a showman and a graduate of the BNTU, was entrusted with hosting the program. He reminded the guests that over two decades, "Soul in Love" has become a real brand of our university, and its soloists successfully represent Belarus at international forums.
The first block of the program presented the guests with the mesmerizing magic of vocals. The piercing "Sails", the gentle duet of Anna Naumchik and Dmitry Nikitin with the song "The Prayer", as well as the expressive hit "Alive Sia" performed by Alexandra Bobrovich made the audience hold their breath.
The performances of the debutants caused a special thrill. Anastasia Karpenko and Bogdan Igolnik appeared on this stage for the first time today as soloists, proving that the history of the studio continues to be written by new talents.
A real sensation was caused by the appearance of the ART-liberta trio. Dmitry Nikitin, the orchestra's soloist and vocal teacher, Egor Chernov, a musician and performer, and Oleg Fomin, the bank's creative director - ten years ago, these guys sang together for the first time at BNTU, and today each of them is an accomplished professional. Their performances have become living proof that creative training in the studio helps to conquer any peaks.
The second part of the concert turned into a creative experiment: today's students sang duets with graduates. The audience enjoyed the performances of Arina Kolesova, Igor Malashenko, Maxim Chetverik and many others. Daria Atroshenko presented her author's lyrics, and Vladislav Yanovich filled the hall with an atmosphere of sincerity.
One of the most emotional moments was a speech by Nikita Adamchuk, a scholarship holder of the Presidential Foundation for the Support of Talented Youth. The hall was filled with applause, not letting the artist go without the legendary "Blue Eternity", which the audience sang in chorus with the soloist.
Natalia Andreevna herself put the final point by performing the song "Landmark of Love". The anniversary program turned into a real musical marathon: the concert lasted more than two hours, but the audience and the artists did not seem to feel tired at all. To the evening's anthem "Turn on the Lights", all 27 concert participants took the stage — a huge team united by their love of music.
The solemn conclusion of the holiday was a congratulation from the university's trade union activists. Irina Vakhtina, chairman of the primary trade union organization of BNTU workers, was invited to the stage for the award ceremony. Irina Sergeevna thanked the artists for their many years of work and presented them with a well-deserved diploma, wishing the "Soul in Love" new creative successes and inexhaustible inspiration.
We can confidently say that 20 years is just the beginning. The "Soul in Love" has new voices, new hits ahead, and many more decades in the very heart of its native BNTU.
