On February 19, 2026, the annual career guidance event was held at A.K. Talaya Secondary School No. 153 in Minsk as part of the school's career week, "Choosing the Future Today," aimed at providing career guidance to students. The event featured an exhibition of vocational, secondary specialized, and higher education institutions. Senior students from secondary schools and gymnasiums in Minsk's Leninsky District attended the event.
Representatives from the Career Guidance and Advertising and Information Department introduced the students to the various faculties of the Belarusian National Technical University, their specialties, and specializations, and discussed the importance of pursuing an engineering profession, as well as the conditions and benefits of targeted training. The students learned about the admission process and its options, as well as their future employment prospects.

Advertising and informational brochures about BNTU and its faculties, as well as a special issue of the "Abiturient-2026" newspaper, sparked interest among the senior students. Students who haven't yet decided on their future career path learned about the opportunity to undergo individual career guidance counseling to identify their professional preferences.
The career guidance event "Choosing Your Future Today" helps students understand the importance of making an informed choice about their future career and navigating the world of professions.
