Yesterday, November 6, 2025, a meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus was held at the Belarusian National Technical University. Participants discussed the preliminary results of the implementation of state scientific and technical programs and the State Program for Innovative Development, as well as the preparation of drafts for similar programs until 2030.
Before the meeting, an exhibition of samples and developments of the BNTU Polytechnic Scientific and Technological Park was organized for the participants. Ministry representatives carefully examined the exhibits and then began discussing the meeting agenda.
The meeting was opened by Andrei Ivanets, Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus. In his welcoming remarks, he outlined a number of issues requiring discussion, after which he handed the floor over to Alexander Bakhanovich, First Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus.
Alexander Bakhanovich outlined the main challenges universities face in meeting deadlines for scientific and technical programs. During the subsequent discussion, possible solutions for overcoming these challenges were developed and the results of current innovative projects were summarized.
BNTU Rector Sergey Kharitonchik, in turn, summarized the results of five university projects, presenting key figures and performance indicators.
Representatives of other higher education institutions shared the results of their work. They also proposed criteria for evaluating research projects at universities.
Following the meeting, the future direction of state scientific and technical projects was determined.
