Today, on October 15, the Belarusian National Technical University was visited by a delegation from the cultural and educational camp of the Institute of Entrepreneurship of the Inner Mongolia University of the People's Republic of China. One of the purposes of the visit was to discuss issues related to the organization of the educational project «Training of professional personnel at the bachelor's level in the specialty "Automation"».
A tour of the university campus was organized for the students, including visits to the laboratories of the Faculty of Information Technologies and Robotics, as well as a presentation of the faculty and the university. The guide was Pavel Kholod, a senior lecturer at the Department of Robotic Systems.
– In certain specialties of one of the faculty's areas, students are engaged in software development in various fields. Others work on automation in enterprises, that is, programming robots, equipment, such as different machines used in production, conveyors, automated lines. In other words, they work with industry and on how to minimize manual labor in production, – noted Pavel Kholod.
During the university presentation, the senior lecturer also pointed out that the faculty's students participate in international-level events and win prizes:
– Our students also actively participate in international and local competitions in software development and robotics. They often win prizes. Recently, our university team won a prize at a major programming championship.
Next, there was an informational tour of JSC 'Krion,' conducted by senior lecturer of the 'Robotic Systems' department, Vladimir Zayarny.
