Today, on April 4, the final of the beauty and femininity contest "Miss BNTU – 2024" was held at the Belarusian National Technical University. Traditionally, the organizer was the Trade Union Organization of the Public Association "Belarusian Republican Youth Union" with the rights of the BNTU district committee.
Not so long ago, girls came to the casting, feeling excited and hoping to make an impression in order to get to the finals. At that time, out of more than 35 students, less than a third of them managed to win the hearts of the jury.
Nevertheless, those who had passed could not relax, because after the casting they began active preparations for the culminating day - the final of the competition. Over the course of several weeks, ten beauties of the Polytechnic University revealed their talents and gained new valuable experience. Debates, master classes in public speaking, aerostretching, and excursions brought the participants together and emphasized their strengths: confidence, leadership and charm.
In the end, day X came, when the main mystery of the competition found its solution. The show program of the evening was opened by a lyrical dance by BNTU students, who prepared the hall for the entrance of the main characters.
To loud applause from the audience, the finalists in cocktail dresses showed themselves in the first fashion show. In a bright and at the same time gentle performance, the real beauty of the girls was revealed.
Short self-introductions made it possible to get to know the participants better. Each finalist spoke about her achievements and hobbies in an improvised form. Drawing a parallel with the chapters of books, the four elements, a growing flower, and emotions, the girls told their unique stories.
The show continued with a second fashion show, which was not without pleasant surprises. So, along with the finalists, Ilya Martvin, a songwriter and performer, a theater and film actor, an expert in the field of music management, appeared on the stage and performed his song "Attraction" for the first time.
The creative block of the competition became the most memorable. The girls impressed the audience with stylish images, sensual and energetic dancing, professional vocals, exciting acting, etc.
Ethnicity and folk culture became the highlight of the third fashion show. The eye-catching elements of the images became a tribute to the Belarusian culture of our ancestors, and in combination with modern costumes created a real sensation.
When the music of the last competition performance faded away, and the final note was drowned in the hall of applause, it was time for the competent jury members to discuss the results. When the jury left to summarize the results, the concert program of the event began. Danaya, graduates of BNTU Ilya Martvin, Igor Malashenko and Vladislav Yanovich, winner of the “BNTU Student of the Year- 2023” Arina Kolesova performed on stage with professional vocals and playing musical instruments.
Creative performances with the participation of Polytechnic graduates continued in tandem with the final fashion show of the finalists. We are sure that Vladislav Yanovich's performance of the song "It's great" and the gait of beautiful girls in elegant outfits simply could not fail to impress those present.
However, after loud speeches, the hall predictably plunged into tense silence - the time had come to announce the results.
The organizers of the competition prepared certificates for each participant in special nominations, which were distributed as follows:
Ilya Martvin was invited to present the award in the nomination "Miss BNTU Online". He solemnly congratulated Daria Denisovich on another title she had received.
Timur Matiushinets, Nadezhda Tolstikova, Konstantin Andrusevich and Anastasia Rudzkaya took the stage to announce the winners in the following nominations. Anastasia Trokhina was awarded title of first Vice-Miss BNTU – 2024, and Anastasia Filipchik was awarded second vice-Miss BNTU – 2024.
The gradually heating up atmosphere in the hall reminded us that there was very little left before the announcement of the absolute winner of the competition. Eleonora Kachalovskaya, and the titled Miss BNTU 2023, Maria Kharkhal congratulated and presented the most graceful, artistic and creative girl at the university with prizes. Based on the results of all passedcontests, the title of “Miss BNTU – 2024” was awarded to Daria Velichko.
