Representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan and the leadership of TSTU met with international students

Представители посольства Узбекистана и руководство ТГТУ встретились с иностранными студентами

Today, October 25, a meeting of representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Belarus and the leadership of Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov with Uzbek students studying at BNTU took place in the BNTU Hall of Fame.

The Embassy's Trade and Economic Advisor Kamoliddin Khasanov, the Embassy's Second Secretary Nodir Usarov, the TSTU Rector Sadritdin Turabdzhanov and the Director of the Joint Belarusian-Uzbek Intersectoral Institute of Applied Technical Qualifications from the Uzbek side Shakhnoza Sultanova arrived to discuss important issues arising in the process of training foreign students. The BNTU management was represented at the event by the Director of the Joint Belarusian-Uzbek Intersectoral Institute of Applied Technical Qualifications from the Belarusian side Igor Gancherenok.

The meeting began with a welcoming speech by Sadritdin Mahamatdinovich. He noted that joint educational programs are a unique opportunity for students to get an education at two prestigious universities and provide themselves with the skills of in–demand specialists.

After the speech of the TSTU rector, those present discussed the advantages of obtaining a double degree and the issue of demand for engineering personnel at enterprises in Uzbekistan.

Representatives of the Embassy informed the students about the rules of staying abroad. Kamoliddin Abdurazakovich reminded about the observance of laws and rules of conduct in the host country, respect for local customs and traditions.

At the end of the meeting, the students asked the speakers their questions, to which they received detailed answers.
