Department : Transport systems and technologies

The prerequisite for the creation of the department was the training of specialists started in 1976 in new areas in the field of transport and transport activities - the organization of transportation and management in transport and traffic management. In 1978, the department "Automobile transportation and car repair" was created under the guidance of Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Yanchuk E.M., which provides training in the specialties "Operation of road transport" and "Organization of traffic". In 1981, two departments were created on the basis of the Department of Automobile Transportation and Repair of Automobiles: "Operation and Repair of Automobiles" headed by Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Vanchukevich V.F. and "Organization and traffic safety" headed by a candidate of technical sciences, Associate Professor Yanchuk E.M. In 1984, a candidate of technical sciences, associate professor Filimonchik I.I. was elected to the post of head of the department "Organization and traffic safety". After the reorganization and merger of the departments in February 1988, the department "Organization of road transport and traffic" was formed. In June 2017, the department "Organization of road transport and traffic" was merged with the department "Evaluation activities in road transport and industry" and the department "Transport systems and technologies" was organized.
