Делегация Хэфэйского технологического университета с рабочим визитом пребывает в БНТУ

Today, July 28, a working meeting with representatives from Hefei University of Technology (China) is taking place at the Belarusian National Technical University. The international delegation will be at the university from July 27 to 31.

Representing the interests of the Chinese university are Fan Xiaofeng, Deputy Director of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation; Bai Xianxu, Vice Dean of the School of Automotive and Transportation Engineering; Wang Hongbo, Head of Department of the School of Automotive and Transportation Engineering; Zhong Zhihong, Head of Department of the School of Materials Science and Engineering; Yang Hao, a faculty member of the School of Mechanical Engineering; and Mikhail Rusinov, a translator and lecturer at the School of Foreign Languages.

BNTU's colleagues are being received by the deans of three faculties: Anastasia Arabey of the Mechanical Engineering Department, Sergey Skirkovsky of the Automobile and Tractor Department, and Igor Ivanov of the Mechanical Engineering and Technology Department. Alexandra Zverko, senior lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technologies, also participated in the discussion.

The current negotiations are the result of joint work that the universities have been conducting for several years. The main goal of the visit is to prepare and coordinate a package of documents for the launch of three "4+0" educational programs jointly with the Mechanical Engineering, Automobile and Tractor Departments, and Mechanical Engineering and Technology Departments. These projects will subsequently be submitted to the Chinese Ministry of Education for approval.

In addition to the business portion, the guests were also given a tour of the Digital Mechanical Engineering Competence Center and a sightseeing tour of Minsk.

Joint work on document preparation and project approval will continue in the coming days. Another round of negotiations is planned for tomorrow, July 29, along with a visit to the BNTU Polytechnic Science and Technology Park. On Thursday, July 30, the parties will hold final working meetings to solidify the agreements reached. We are confident that this visit will result in the launch of sought-after educational programs that will open up new opportunities for students from both countries.
