Today, on July 29, the delegation of the Hefei University of Technology (PRC) continues its stay at the Belarusian National Technical University. The program of this day includes negotiations and a visit to the BNTU Polytechnic Science and Technology Park.
The interests of the Chinese university were represented by Fan Xiaofeng, Deputy Director of the Department of International Exchange and Cooperation, Bai Xianxiu, Deputy Dean of the School of Automotive and Transport Engineering, Wang Hongbo, Head of the Department of the School of Automotive and Transport Engineering, Zhong Zhihong, Head of the Department of the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Yang Hao, an employee of the School of Mechanical Engineering, as well as Mikhail Rusinov, translator and teacher of the School of Foreign Languages.
Today, in the morning, Anastasia Arabey, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Sergey Skirkovsky, Dean of the Faculty of Automotive Engineering, Olga Yatskevich, Professor of the Department of Technological Equipment, Igor Kulinich, Head of the Laboratory of the Department of Machines and Technology of Metalworking by Pressure, Faculty of Mechanics and Technology, and Alexandra Zverko, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology, met with their Chinese colleagues.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed in more detail the possibility of launching three educational programs in the "4+0" format. Olga Yatskevich also conducted a tour of the Digital Engineering competence center for the delegation, and then highlighted in detail the key projects and opportunities of the industry research laboratory of plasma and laser technologies, emphasizing their practical importance for industry.
In the afternoon, the third round of negotiations took place at the BNTU Polytechnic Science and Technology Park during the delegation's stay at BNTU. First, Tatiana Malyshko, a researcher at the Scientific Research Institute of the BNTU Polytechnic, conducted an excursion for representatives of the foreign delegation, during which she spoke in detail about the activities of the technopark.
After the tour, negotiations started. The parties discussed the areas of cooperation in more detail. The dialogue with the delegation was conducted by Ksenia Yakushenko, Vice Rector for Research at BNTU, and representatives of the automotive, mechanical Engineering, and Mechanical Technology faculties.
The negotiations ended with the signing of an agreement on the establishment of a joint scientific laboratory "Laboratory of Electric and Autonomous Vehicles" with the Faculty of Automotive Engineering.
This agreement opens up new horizons for in-depth scientific and technical cooperation between Belarus and China. In the future, this will allow combining the advanced competencies of the two universities and will become a platform for joint research, the implementation of international grant projects, as well as for the training of new generation engineering and scientific personnel.
