During the period from September 11 to 13, 2019, the IV International Olympiad among university students, training specialist for the road sector was held in Minsk.
By tradition, in the Olympiad, held by Open Joint-Stock “Belavtodor” Holding Management Company” were teams not only from Belarusian universities, but also from the European Union. So, 27 people from 9 universities took part in the Olympiad. Among them were BNTU, BSUT, BSTU, Belarusian-Russian university, Brest State Technical University, Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, Silesian University of Technology (Gliwice city), Riga Technical University and Tallinn University of Technology.
The team of our university included 5th year old students by specialty “Car Roads” – Gaiduk Dmitry, Golybcov Eugene, Tolyarenok Valery. Preparation of the team with the aim to systematize and consolidate the knowledges they get earlier was engaged by the department “Car Roads” of FTC.
The senior lecturer Reut Zhanna Vladimirovna together with the head of the department “Bridges and tunnels”, Ph.D., associate professor Grecukhin Vladimir Aleksandrovich and assistant of the department “Geodesy and Aerodynamic Technologies” Kabatsky Alexander Viktorovich.
According to the results of the competition Gaiduk Dmitry took the 3td place and receive the right to find a job in any organization of “Belavtodor” Holding Management Company”. Tolyarenok V.S. and Golubcov E.A. took 4th and 5th places among 27 students.
As an incentive for the great results Dmitry Gaiduk as a winner got the right to find a job in the subsidiary holding company of “Belavtodor”.
