From June 15 to 19, 2026, the Belarusian National Technical University will be the main venue for a large-scale international event: the 2nd China-SCO Innovative Postgraduate Camp. The event will be held as part of the 10th Meeting of the SCO Ministers of Education.
For reference: The China-SCO Innovative Postgraduate Camp was created to train highly qualified researchers, develop international cooperation, and implement advanced educational technologies. The first camp was successfully held in 2024.
The camp program includes the exchange of innovation experiences, the discussion of joint research projects, and the strengthening of academic ties between young researchers from the participating countries.
Tomorrow, June 16, a meeting and tour of the university will be held for delegations from the Russian Federation, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the People's Republic of China, along with working meetings for the heads of partner universities.
The key day of the event will be June 17. The camp's grand opening will take place in the assembly hall of the main building, followed by a plenary session featuring lectures by five leading scientists from SCO member states. In the afternoon, graduate students will attend four parallel panel sessions where they will present the results of their dissertation research, and university leadership will participate in the II Council meeting of the China-Shanghai Cooperation Organization Innovative Center for Postgraduate Training.
The camp's closing ceremony, including the presentation of diplomas, will take place on June 18 in the assembly hall of the BNTU "Polytechnic" Science and Technology Park, after which the graduate students will enjoy tours of Minsk.
We wish the camp participants a fruitful camp!
