A meeting was held at BNTU to mark the Feast of the Ascension of the Lord

В БНТУ прошла встреча, приуроченная к празднику Вознесения Господня

Today, May 21, a significant meeting was held at the Spiritual and Educational Center of the Belarusian National Technical University to mark the Feast of the Ascension of the Lord. Priest Sergiy Faley, a cleric of St. Elizabeth Convent, shared his thoughts on faith, science, and moral values with students and staff.

Father Sergiy also revealed the profound spiritual meaning of the Feast of the Ascension of the Lord.

"This holiday reminds us that our lives have a higher meaning, and our every action should be directed toward goodness and light."

The priest emphasized that faith does not contradict scientific inquiry; on the contrary, it helps scientists maintain moral compass and see beyond the material world.

The discussion focused particularly on the personal development of young people. Priest Sergiy highlighted key principles that help young people: remain honest and principled in any circumstances; build relationships based on respect and mutual assistance; and overcome difficulties by relying on spiritual values. The priest urged the students not to fear difficult decisions, but to perceive trials as opportunities for spiritual growth and character strengthening.

In conclusion, Priest Sergiy once again congratulated those present on the holiday and offered these parting words:

"May the Ascension of the Lord remind us that our life is a path to heaven. Strive for goodness, keep love and mercy in your hearts, and do not forget about prayer. May your studies and work be not only a profession, but also a service to people and the Fatherland."

Participants thanked Priest Sergiy for the sincere conversation and wise advice. Many noted that the event gave them new insights, inspiration, and a sense of spiritual support.
