On March 24, 2026, first-year students from the Faculty of Information and Document Communications (FIC) majoring in Library and Information Work (LIBW) visited the BNTU Scientific Library. Students from groups 131, 131a, 132, and 133, along with Svetlana Vladimirovna Malanukhina, senior lecturer in the Department of Information Resources and Communications, participated in the event as part of their internship.
During the visit, special attention was paid to the library's cultural, educational, and research activities. In the KB-16 coworking space, library staff (graduates of the Faculty of Information and Document Communications) presented the library's main areas of work and discussed the implementation of contemporary socio-cultural initiatives within the framework of intellectual leisure.

April 26, 2026, marks the 40th anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident. This date is a day of remembrance and mourning for the millions of people whose lives were forever changed by the largest man-made disaster of the 20th century.
We present to you the new requiem exhibition "Chernobyl – Tragedy, Heroism, Warning." Its goal is to remind us of the fragility of the modern world, the costly human error, and the importance of a safety culture at nuclear power facilities. Today, as Belarus develops its own nuclear power plant, the lessons of Chernobyl are especially relevant.

Last time, our journey through the Labyrinth turned into an incredible kaleidoscope of contrasts, where fragments of old memories collided with cold steel and piercing winds. First, a mysterious code opened the doors to the realm of Plunderphonics. Led by Australian sound masters The Avalanches, we found ourselves at the center of a colorful musical carnival. From thousands of vinyl samples and fragments of forgotten eras, they wove a bright, seamless fabric, proving that entirely new sounds can be created from other people's melodies. After this, we were introduced to the EBM genre and its Belgian architects, Front 242. Strobe flashes, industrial clang, and the relentless march of analog synthesizers captivated us with their cybernetic rhythm, revealing the icy aesthetic of machines. The finale was a journey into the realm of Blackgaze. The French project Alcest plunged us into the very center of an emotional storm, where the fury of black metal and heart-rending vocals drowned in an ocean of dreamy, shimmering guitar riffs, demonstrating how a dazzling, unearthly light is born from crushing heaviness. Where will these new numbers lead us, and what melodies are still hidden within the boundless vault of the Labyrinth?
