"Spring of BNTU 2026". How good are the Polytechnic students' singing skills?

«Весна БНТУ – 2026». Насколько хорошо поют политеховцы?

Today, March 31, the Polytechnic University has a special sound. The Spring of BNTU 2026 student creativity festival has officially started at the Belarusian National Technical University. This event, which was eagerly awaited by both participants and spectators, opened its doors to the world of music, emotions, and boundless student energy.

The start of the festival was a true celebration. The talented hosts Alyona Metlushko, Alyaksandra Smal, and Uladzislau Yanovich had the honor of setting the tone for the event and guiding the audience through the program. Their charisma and sincerity immediately captivated the audience, creating a unique atmosphere that sets "Spring of BNTU" apart from any other event.

From year to year, the festival is not only a competition of talents, but also a creative space for everyone in the hall. A highlight of the program was the interaction with the audience. Participants could not only enjoy the performances, but also test their knowledge, participate in contests, and, of course, receive branded festival merchandise. This time, for example, the hosts on stage found the most rhythmic drummer.

The festival began with a song festival, a day when each faculty takes the stage to tell their story through music. The participants presented compositions that, in their opinion, best reflected the spirit, character, and their desire to win.

When the recognition of the audience and the high title of laureate are at stake, the fate of the contestants is in the hands of those who have themselves gone through the ordeal of the stage. On this day, the jury included:

  • Chairman of the jury, soloist-vocalist of the highest category of the Belarusian State Philharmonic, musician-multi-instrumentalist Igor Zadorozhny;
  • singer, representative of Belarus at the XXXII International Competition of Variety Song Performers "Vitebsk", winner of international, national and regional competitions and festivals, finalist of the show "Factor.BY" Samir Yelchiev;
  • artist-vocalist (soloist) of the highest qualification category of the Youth Variety Theatre, singer, songwriter, vocal teacher Olga Bulai.

As soon as the lights went out in the hall, the stands erupted with support. Chants familiar to every Polytechnic student echoed through the auditorium, giving the participants confidence and strength. "The most amazing is the Faculty of Construction!", "The power of the Mechanical Engineering Faculty!", "PSFushka - carry on!" and other slogans created the very atmosphere of unity of absolutely all students with the rhythms of "Spring".

The soloist of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering gave the audience not just a performance, but a real time machine. From the first chords of the familiar song "I'm a Little Boy Again," the audience was transported back to a carefree childhood, a time when we couldn't reach the floor with our feet and the world seemed vast and wondrous. The audience couldn't hold back, and hundreds of lights ignited in response, transforming the dark hall into a starry sky. In this radiance, everyone became that child who believed in miracles.

Each faculty approached the performance with passion, presenting not just performances but full-fledged productions with sets and choreography. The Faculty of Marketing, Management, and Entrepreneurship had the honor of opening the evening. Their performance truly lit up the stage from the very first notes. The entrance in scarlet costumes with shiny elements set the trend for the entire event. Along with the soloists, top-notch dancers took the stage, and their synchronized movements and energy created a truly magical atmosphere.

The spring at BNTU is not about the weather, and the performance by the Faculty of Sports and Technology was the perfect confirmation of this. With their rendition of "Flakes Flying Up," the students captivated the audience so much that they momentarily forgot about the calendar. It was a rare moment when the artists managed to erase the boundary between the stage and the audience, making every spectator a part of a winter and romantic story.

The soloist from the Military-Technical Faculty reminded the audience of the importance of strength of spirit and loyalty to traditions by performing the popular song "2 Eagles." The power and unity of the faculty were evident in this performance.

The Faculty of Transport Communications surprised the audience with their unconventional approach. Starting from the large two-level pedestal and strong vocals, and ending with the details of the backup dancers' costumes, which, by the way, were completely different but had a common concept.

The song festival came to an end, leaving the audience and participants with a lot of emotions. However, the festival is not over yet. Tomorrow, April 1, a new competition day awaits everyone – the STEM festival, where the students will once again prove that they are not only talented singers but also brilliant actors, professional directors, and witty comedians.
