On Friday, February 20, 2026, a meeting was held at the Mogilevenergo RUE with representatives of organizations that are hiring personnel for targeted recruitment.
From the Belarusian National Technical University, the event was attended by Natalia Afanasyeva, Director of the Institute of Integrated Forms of Training and Education Monitoring, Evgeny Ponomarenko, Dean of the Faculty of Energy, Sergey Skirkovsky, Dean of the Faculty of Automotive Engineering, Yaroslav Potachits, Dean of the Faculty of Sports and Technology, Elena Grinevich, Deputy Dean for Ideological and Educational Work at the Faculty of Automotive Engineering, and Yulia Susha, Deputy Dean for Ideological and Educational Work at the Faculty of Engineering and Pedagogy. Representatives of Mogilevenergo RUE included Nikolai Nevmerzhitsky, Head of the Human Resources Department, and Stanislav Goryachko, Deputy Chief Engineer for Personnel and Network Automation.
The main topic of the meeting was the issue of targeted admission of applicants to higher technical institutions, in particular to BNTU, for specialties in demand in the energy sector. Targeted training is an important component for providing enterprises – customers of personnel with young specialists already focused on working in a particular organization.
– Cooperation with BNTU, which is actively working on improving the educational process in the energy sector, allows us to implement high-quality technological programs for relevant production tasks, – said Stanislav Goryachko.
To demonstrate the scale and specifics of the company's work, representatives of BNTU were given a tour of the company's key facilities, including the modern closed-type Solominka power substation, Mogilev Electric Power Supply Company, and the BELAZ-HOLDING management company.
For reference, the modern closed-type Solominka power substation in Mogilev is a key element of the energy supply for the new residential area of Solominka-2. This substation will provide uninterrupted electricity to about 30,000 residents and will be the first closed-type facility in the region, where all equipment is located inside a single building. It will have environmentally friendly, safe, and compact features, which will improve the safety of personnel, reliability, and ease of maintenance.
It is worth noting that the meeting was attended by a graduate of the Energy Department of BNTU, who shared his insights on the realities of working in the energy sector. The young professional shared his experiences, highlighting both the positive aspects and challenges of working in the energy industry.
The meeting resulted in a discussion of cooperation between leading energy and industrial enterprises and BNTU.
