MIPC and PC BNTU invites you to take part in the conference “Height-2026”, which will be held on March 13

МИПК и ПК БНТУ приглашает принять участие в конференции «Высота-2026», которая пройдет 13 марта

The branch of BNTU “Inter-industry Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining of Personnel in Management and Personnel Development” (MIPC and PC BNTU) invites you to take part in the conference “Height-2026”, dedicated to current issues of safety of work at height. Particular attention will be paid to changes in legislation and regulations coming into force on April 26, 2026.

The conference will become a platform for exchanging experiences, discussing best practices and developing effective solutions to ensure safety at height in the light of upcoming innovations. Participation is free!

Time: 08:30 – 15:00.
Venue: MIPC and PC BNTU, Minsk, Partizansky Ave., 77.
Organizers: Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Belarus, MIPC and PC BNTU, private enterprise "AlpPayer".

The main goal of the “Height 2026” conference is to ensure a smooth and effective transition of specialists working at heights to new rules and safety standards. The organizers strive to create a platform for the exchange of knowledge, experience and best practices so that each participant can confidently apply the updated requirements in their daily work.

Conference objectives:

  • information and explanation: familiarize participants with changes in legislation and regulations relating to work at height, explain the essence of innovations and their practical application;
  • increasing the level of competencies: provide up-to-date information on modern methods and technologies for ensuring safety when working at height;
  • exchange of experience and networking: create conditions for a productive dialogue between specialists, representatives of companies, supervisory authorities and equipment manufacturers;
  • demonstration of innovations: present the latest developments and solutions in the field of personal protective equipment, safety systems and equipment for working at height;
  • emphasis on rescue and first aid: emphasize the importance of emergency preparedness and first aid for accidents at height.

Two thematic exhibitions will be held as part of the conference. Thus, the exhibition “Reliable Protection: Tools and Equipment for Working at Heights” will become a real center of attraction for everyone who values ​​safety and reliability. The latest developments in the field of safety systems (modern harnesses, lanyards, anchor devices, blocking devices and other elements that provide maximum protection against falls) and personal protective equipment (helmets, protective clothing, gloves, shoes designed taking into account the specifics of working at height) will be presented here.

The exhibition "Rescue Ready: First Aid Kits" will focus on the critical aspect of safety - prompt and competent first aid in the event of an emergency. Participants will be able to view modern first aid kits: kits specifically designed for working at heights, including everything needed for bleeding control, immobilization, wound treatment and other emergency measures.

  • 08:30 – 09:00 – registration of participants;
  • 09:00 – 09:10 – welcoming speech by the head of the department of security and state examination of working conditions of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Belarus, Ivan Karchevsky;
  • 09:10 – 09:40 – “Requirements of labor protection rules when performing work at height” (speaker – Ivan Karchevsky, head of the department of safety and state examination of working conditions of the Ministry of Labor);
  • 09:40 – 10:10 – “Risk management when working at height: from formality to the concept of informed safety. Organizational and technical measures to ensure safety of work at height" (speaker - Alexander Drozdov, head of the labor protection department of STB Bel Expert LLC, instructor of the Vizion Zero safety concept in the Republic of Belarus);
  • 10:10 – 10:40 – “Organization and process of training in the safety of performing work at height for workers of groups 1, 2 and 3” (speaker – Vitaly Model, director of the private unitary enterprise “AlpPayer”, 3rd group on drilling and blasting at height, teacher of the MIPC and PC BNTU);
  • 10:40 – 11:10 – “Features of first aid in case of a fall from a height” (speaker – Alexander Mikhalchuk, associate professor of the department of organization of medical support for troops and disaster medicine of BSMU, director of the company “ATAN PROFI”);
  • 11:10 – 11:40 – “Algorithm of actions in emergency situations when performing work at height before the arrival of the Ministry of Emergency Situations” (speaker – Vitaly Fedkovich, senior lecturer at the Department of Fire and Emergency Rescue Training at the University of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus);
  • 11:40 – 12:30 – coffee break;
  • 12:30 – 13:00 – “Entrepreneurial activity of industrial climbers in 2026: list of permitted activities and long-term prospects” (speaker - Ilya Salalaiko, industrial climber of the 5th category, gas rescuer, 3rd group for drilling and blasting at height);
  • 13:30 – 14:00 – “Ensuring the safety of work when performing tree maintenance work in parks, sanatoriums and other places with large crowds of people” (speaker - Vasily Kolesnev, director of KHIMKOL LLC, arborist, 3rd group on blasting at height);
  • 14:00 – 15:00 – open discussion of current conference topics with the opportunity for informal communication with partners and official representatives, coffee break, end of the conference.
