A delegation from Qingdao University visited BNTU

Today, September 18, a delegation from Qingdao University visited the Belarusian National Technical University. The delegation included:

• Rector Zhiqiang Wei;
• Party Secretary of the Medical College Guangfeng Jiang;
• Director of the Graduate and Postgraduate Department Yuanhong Xu;
• Director of the International Cooperation Department Yunbo Wang;
• Professor of the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics Hongwei Gao;
• Head of the Chinese Project at the Belarusian State University Wang Yaotian.

During the visit, the delegation visited an exhibition of innovative developments at the BNTU Polytechnic Science and Technology Park. Maxim Zhurkevich, the park's Manager for Innovative Entrepreneurship Support, gave a presentation on the exhibition.

At the talks with representatives of Qingdao University, BNTU was represented by Rector Sergei Kharitonchik, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Yuri Nikolaychik, Dean of the Faculty of International Cooperation Pavel Shirvel, Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering Sergei Kovshar, and Head of the Department of Theoretical Mechanics and Mechanics of Materials at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Evgeny Krushevsky.

BNTU representatives presented their Chinese colleagues with information about Belarus's leading technical university. The presentation included the university's performance in international rankings, its level of international cooperation, and its main research areas.

Those present discussed areas for future cooperation, including academic exchange and joint research activities. The parties expressed interest in expanding their partnership, which will enrich the educational process and strengthen ties between the universities.

We wish BNTU and Qingdao University a fruitful collaboration.
