BNTU STREETBALL CUP – 2025: Until the last throw

On Friday, May 30, 2025, the Belarusian National Technical University hosted the final of one of the most interesting sports events of the Polytechnic University – BNTU STREETBALL CUP – 2025. Representatives of educational institutions of Minsk took part in the game.

For reference: streetball is a kind of basketball, which is also called street. Streetball is played by teams of three people, there is only one basket on the court, and the markings are the same as in the classic game.

This year, 16 teams from BNTU faculties took part in the game. The guys conquered the sports field, showing excellent athletic training, fighting hard for every point. Despite this, the best team and players were determined.

So, the winners in special nominations were:

• MVP – Yaramir Dashkevich;
• "Best Defender" – Daniil Ro;
• "Best Forward" – Valentin Kulevtsov;
• "Audience Award" – Vladislav Bondarchik;
• "Winner of the Free Throw Competition" – Ilya Slesarenko.

The top three winners of the tournament are as follows:

• first place – Not a team (Faculty of Marketing, Management, Entrepreneurship);
• second place -  team "Worms" (Belarusian State University and Belarusian State University of Physical Culture);
• third place - team “Crumblehoopers” (Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics and BNTU Mechanical Technological Faculty).

The game was spectacular. All the participants received a lot of positive emotions and spent time in excellent company.
