Today, 23 May, the official reception of the delegation of Qingdao University of Technology took place at the BNTU Scientific and Technological Park ‘Polytechnic’. The interests of the foreign university were represented by Vice President Miao Jianjun, Director of International Relations, Dean of the International College of Education Zhang Peng, Director of Academic Affairs Xu Kongbao, Director of the Department of Science and Technology Liu Junwei.
At the beginning of the reception, the employees of the Chinese university were invited for a tour of the Technopark's exhibition exposition. Alexei Aldoshin, head of the Belarusian Centre for Scientific and Technical Cooperation with the People's Republic of China BNTU, told the guests about the latest developments and achievements of the enterprise.
- The exhibition hall of the technopark and the university presents the developments of our scientists, subsidiaries, residents of the park. Today we will talk about advanced samples in such areas as instrumentation, medicine, surgery and others, - said Alexei Aldoshin.
Then the representatives of the Chinese delegation went to negotiate with the BNTU employees. From the Belarusian side, the meeting was attended by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Yuri Nikolaychik and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Construction Pavel Statkevich.
During the talks, Yuri Nikolaychik introduced the guests to the university's history, values and educational programmes. He also spoke about the intricacies of admitting foreign citizens and the prospects for further cooperation.
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed during the meeting.
The parties plan to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation and further development in the field of international educational services.
