On January 25, BNTU hosted a meeting of foreign students with employees of the Department of Citizenship and Migration of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee and the Regional Department of Internal Affairs of the Sovetsky District Department of Internal Affairs of Minsk.
The event was attended by Marina Anatolyevna Zhudro, Senior inspector of the Department of Citizenship and Migration of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee , Roman Petrovich Ryabov, inspector of he Department of Citizenship and Migration of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee and the Regional Department of Internal Affairs of the Sovetsky District Department of Internal Affairs of Minsk, and employees of the Faculty of International Cooperation headed by Dean Pavel Ivanovich Shirvel.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Vice-rector for Educational Work of BNTU Timur Vladimirovich Matiushinets made a welcoming speech.
Marina Anatolyevna brought to the attention of foreign students information about the election campaign in the Republic of Belarus, and also held an explanatory conversation on preventing them from committing offenses and crimes, including in the areas of sexual integrity and sexual freedom of citizens, illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, informed about administrative and criminal offenses committed in the Republic of Belarus recently by foreign students of Belarusian educational institutions, explained the main provisions and articles of the Code of the Republic of Belarus on administrative offenses and the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus.
Further, Roman Petrovich reminded foreign students about the rules for crossing the state border of the Republic of Belarus, the regimes of stay of foreigners in the Republic of Belarus, the temporary stay of foreigners in the Republic of Belarus, the procedure for registering foreign citizens temporarily staying in the Republic of Belarus.
International students received answers to all their questions.
