In the section "BNTU is the choice of the best", we traditionally introduce readers to outstanding first-year students of the country's leading technical university. Today, the heroine of the material is a student of the Faculty of Marketing, Management, Entrepreneurship (FMME) Kristina Ivanova.

The girl is majoring in economics and management at an industrial enterprise. When choosing a higher education institution, Kristina knew exactly what she should pay attention to the most:
– I chose the university based on three criteria – the prestige of the educational institution, interesting specialties and a comfortable environment. That's how the choice fell on BNTU: it is the leading technical university in the country, and my future profession is interesting and in demand. I realized that I would be surrounded by truly creative people at FMME when I saw the faculty account on TikTok. Then all the details of the puzzle came together, and there were no more doubts.
Kristina is also actively interested in dancing. From an early age, she studied at a dance studio in her native Vitebsk, and shortly before admission, she even taught children.
– Four years ago, I started working with children for the first time as an assistant choreographer. Over time, even groups of different age categories began to trust me: I worked with four-year-olds and fifteen-year-olds. I loved choreographing for them, and gradually it became my regular activity.

– During the first semester, you have already shown yourself creatively at the university more than once. Tell us more about this.
– This semester, the impetus for me was the competition " “BNTU Student of the Year-2023". I attended it as a fan. Then I saw how bright the events were at BNTU and how high-quality the students’ performances were. This inspired me a lot.
The first event at BNTU, where Kristina acted as a choreographer, was "Vivat, leaders of FMME". After that, concerts within the framework of both the faculty and the university only managed to replace each other: "My house is a dormitory", "BNTU Student Shift", "BNTU Festival of Belarusian Culture", etc. There was also a freshman day at the FMME – "FMME DRIVE", according to the results of which the group in which the girl studies took the first place.

– In addition to your active creative life, you are also the head of the group. How do you manage to combine and be on time everywhere?
– I was very lucky with the group: there is mutual understanding and support in it. That is why I am not afraid of not being able to do something, because I am sure that my classmates will support me in any situation.

– What advice can you give to dancers who are just beginners?
– Believe in yourself and visit rehearsals, the more often the better.
We thank Christina for the interview and wish her success in her future creative and educational activities.
