Traditionally, the Department of Robotic Systems of the Faculty of Information Technology and Robotics holds guest lectures, seminars, and round-table discussions with representatives of the industrial sector. This year was no exception.
On September 10, 2026, the department hosted a meeting with Andrey Yarovenko, Deputy Head of the Automated Electricity Metering and Control Systems Department at Fanipol Plant of Measuring Instruments “Energomera” LLC.
The participants received comprehensive information about the company’s activities, achievements, mass-produced equipment, current developments, and promising innovative products. Almost every year, the plant expands its product range with new devices developed using advanced technologies in the fields of metrology, electronics, and telecommunications.
In February 2023, the company donated a training stand and the corresponding software to the Department of Robotic Systems, enabling students to gain practical experience in studying modern hardware and software solutions for the automated measurement, collection, storage, transmission, and processing of electricity consumption data.
Andrey Yarovenko not only spoke about the company but also conducted a practical session using equipment and devices manufactured by Fanipol Plant of Measuring Instruments “Energomera” LLC. He demonstrated their technical capabilities, the operation of the devices, and specialized software.
The meeting was held at a high professional level.
