The Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, together with the Synodal Department of the Belarusian Orthodox Church for Cooperation with Secular Educational Institutions, will hold the Republican contest of creative works among youth 'Spring of Spiritual Heritage' in March–April 2026. Students of the Faculty of Management Technologies and Humanities of the Belarusian National Technical University are taking part in the contest.
For reference: the contest is dedicated to the memory of the Hero of Belarus, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus, Metropolitan Filaret (Vakhromeyev). The contest is held in four stages across four categories based on different art forms: choral singing, video essay, poetry, and painting.
In the category 'Kryly chasu / Wings of Time', Anna Zverugo (supervisor – Head of the Department 'Industrial Design and Packaging' Pavel Kashevsky) presented her work 'Prayer is the shield and support of the monastery. Euphrosyne of Polotsk'. The work is done in the 'lettering' technique: the artistically rendered a quote from the outstanding enlightener of Belarus.
Olga Hreben prepared her work 'Easter Morning' in the same category (supervisor – Senior Lecturer of the Department 'Industrial Design and Packaging' Iryna Strigelskaya). The student's work is an artistic composition created with watercolours. Olga illustrated Easter attributes and symbols well known to every Orthodox Belarusian.
The presented works demonstrate the rich culture of Orthodoxy and reflect the history of Belarus, the traditions and pride of our people. We are confident that in the final, the works of the BNTU students will conquer the jury and bring another victory to BNTU's collection of achievements."
