Yuliana Rodimtseva, a second-year student of the Instrument Engineering Faculty, completes the series of acquaintances with the finalists of the competition. For a girl, "steps to self" consist in constant work on herself and her thinking.
According to the finalist, a person's thoughts determine their success. Before an important event, a girl always adjusts herself and imagines only the best moments in her head.
– To move forward, you first need to establish a dialogue with yourself. Only when you begin to make friends with your inner self does that inner strength appear, which is necessary for bold steps and decisive actions.
The last year has been a time of changes in appearance for Juliana. If earlier she was just groping for her image, today she clearly understands how to convey her personality through clothes and the ability to present herself.
– Over the past year, I have discovered the world of style. Previously, I didn't quite understand how to combine things correctly, emphasize the advantages of the figure and present myself to the audience. I started actively researching this issue, watching fashion shows on the Internet. I've grown a lot in this regard.
– What is more important to you: achievements or acquired experience?
– Self-development. It is impossible to achieve anything without this process. Even if something doesn't go according to plan, I don't get discouraged. For me, getting experience comes first. It's important to be able to tell yourself: "But now I know more." This understanding helps us not to stop.
The path to self-improvement often lies through overcoming old complexes. Juliana talked about how she returned to music, despite criticism from teachers in the past.
– Now I am actively engaged in playing the piano. As a child, I didn't really like it and I wasn't passionate about it, the teachers didn't really support me. But now I'm learning melodies, singing to my own accompaniment, and enjoying it a lot. The most important thing is that I like the sound of it, and others appreciate it too.
The girl's list of achievements includes performances and victories in various fields, from literature to vocals. She is one of those people who knows how to work in a team and reach the top together.
– One of the brightest moments in my life was participation in the republican competition as part of the ensemble, where we won first place. I felt euphoric during the victory. This is a condition that justifies all the efforts invested.
For Juliana, the decision to participate in the Miss BNTU contest was not spontaneous. In her freshman year, she looked closely at the project and then became eager to become a part of it. She admitted that she was attracted not only by the beauty, but also by the dynamics of the process itself.
– Last year I actively studied this competition. When I saw how many different activities there were, how many interesting things to do, I really got fired up. I really like this pace of life. And already participating in the project, I have learned a lot. Now I am more courageous, strong, cheerful and responsive.
The conversation about the finalist's qualities inevitably raised the eternal question: what is more important — appearance or inner world? Juliana is sure that "Miss" is a complex image.
– What do you want to get from participating in the competition?
– Of course, these are new discoveries for yourself. The girls and I attend various activities, learn something new. For example, we recently went aerostretching. I have never been to such events, but having been there, I can say that it is very entertaining and useful. In general, I'm learning a lot of new things here. I realized that "Miss BNTU" is not just about fashion shows and beautiful dresses. It's about the ability to adapt quickly, grasp information on the fly, and constantly broaden your horizons.
