Today, November 14, The 18th International Scientific Conference on Instrumentation Engineering (ISCIE-2025) began at the Victoria Olymp Congress Hotel. An important sign of the conference's international recognition was the fact that this year its events were organized for the first time in collaboration with the Harare Institute of Technology.
This year, the conference brought together over 600 participants from 90 organizations and 9 countries: Belarus, Zimbabwe, Russia, China, India, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Malaysia, and Bahrain. The mentioned countries were represented by leading scientific and industrial centers, including the Belarusian State Institute for Standardization and Certification, the Belarusian State Institute of Metrology, Peleng JSC," BelOMO Holding”, JSC "Integral," and others.
The event began with a plenary session, at which the Vice-Rector for Research of BSTU, Ksenia Yakushenko, delivered a welcoming speech:
– Dear colleagues, the 18th International Scientific and Technical Conference 'Instrumentation-2025' is a testament to our growth and international recognition. For the first time, it is being held jointly with the Harare University of Technology. BNTU is forming a scientific foundation for enterprises that promote advanced developments. Among the partners are the Belarusian State Institute of Metrology, the BelOMO Holding, JSC 'Integral', and others. More than 600 scientists from 90 organizations across 9 countries are participating in the conference. It is an important platform for exchanging experience between scientific and industrial centers. On behalf of the university's thousands-strong team, I declare the conference open.
Rector of BNTU Sergey Kharitonchik addressed the participants in a video format.
– Today we are entering the era of robots, and for this we need instruments and sensors. Instrumentation is at the forefront and leads this entire movement. We are pleased to welcome all the guests who support us with their ideas within the framework of our conference, – noted Sergey Vasilyevich.
After the plenary session, sectional work began on six key areas:
Tomorrow, November 15, participants will enjoy a walking tour of Minsk, which will provide an opportunity to get acquainted with the capital's culture and conclude the conference in an informal, friendly atmosphere.
