Pelvic bone fixation device, solid-state lasers. What other developments did BNTU present at the MILEX-2025 international exhibition

Аппарат фиксации костей таза, твердотельные лазеры. Какие еще разработки представил БНТУ на международной выставке MILEX-2025

From 21 to 24 May, the XII International Exhibition of Arms and Military Equipment MILEX-2025 is being held at the Minsk International Exhibition Centre. This year, the arms forum is hosting more than 150 companies from Belarus, Russia, China, Iran, Pakistan and India.

As part of the exhibition organised by the State Committee for Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, the collective stand of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, including the Belarusian National Technical University, presents innovative developments by university scientists for the military-industrial complex:

  • multilayer structures resistant to shock loads (developer – Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Oleg Devoyno, ISRL Plasma and Laser Technologies, BNTU);
  • a line of solid-state lasers (developed by Viktor Kisel, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, Research Centre for Optical Materials and Technologies, Belarusian National Technical University);
  • hybrid MEMS tilt sensor (developed by Olga Reutskaya, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, ONIL of Innovative MEMS Technology Devices, BNTU);
  • Super-fine polishing of optical, laser and electronic components using magnetic abrasive polishing (developed by Polimag Scientific and Engineering Enterprise, a resident of the BNTU Polytechnic Science and Technology Park).

In addition, the exhibition features high-tech medical products and equipment developed by the BNTU Polytechnic Science and Technology Park. The exhibits from the technology park included a device for emergency external fixation of pelvic bones and long tubular bones and a device for vacuum therapy, Impuls KM-1.

The Military Technical Faculty of BNTU presented the faculty's cutting-edge developments in engineering support for crossing water obstacles, electronic software products for deploying bridge layers, technologies for cleaning surfaces from various types of contamination during repairs, as well as information about the specialities taught at the faculty and opportunities for training foreign specialists.

Yesterday, 22 May, the exhibition was visited by BNTU Rector Sergei Kharitonchik, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work Ksenia Yakushenko, and First Deputy Head of the Military Technical Faculty Igor Yankovsky.

The exhibition will continue on 24 May from 10:00 to 17:00 at 24 P. Medelki Street.

Important! Admission is by invitation or tickets purchased at the box office (adults – 25 BYN, concessions – 15 BYN (for students, schoolchildren, pensioners, disabled persons of all groups, Chernobyl liquidators, etc.), free for children under 7 accompanied by adults).
