Today, on April 1, the grand opening of international specialized exhibitions took place at Minsk Football Arena. The large exposition includes the following exhibitions: "Metalworking/Mechanical engineering – 2025", "Welding and cutting – 2025", "Powder metallurgy", "Corrosion protection. Coatings" and "Litmetexpo".

After the grand opening, the BNTU rector commented on the work of the exhibition and the Polytechnic's contribution to the mechanical engineering industry.
– The exhibition demonstrates Belarus’s capabilities in mechanical engineering and other industries, attracting scientists and manufacturers to discuss topical issues. There is a tendency to saturate and intellectualize the exhibition with an emphasis on advanced equipment, including elements of artificial intelligence. BNTU plays a key role in training personnel for mechanical engineering and machine tool building, being the basic university for Belarusian enterprises. Cooperation with the Russian Federation in the field of training personnel for machine tool building allows us to successfully compete with world leaders, - noted Sergey Kharytonchyk.
At the exhibition, about 200 participants from Belarus, Russia, India, China, Turkey, Kazakhstan and other countries present new equipment and materials. In addition, participants demonstrate samples of specially developed technical solutions and projects.
Visitors can explore the stands of domestic machine tool manufacturing enterprises, as well as a wide range of equipment and technologies for welding from different countries. The exhibitors also included models of pressing and thermal equipment, powder materials and the latest products for various industries, developments of Belarusian scientists, comprehensive solutions in the field of corrosion protection and new technologies in foundry production and metallurgy.
It should also be noted that the 39th international scientific and technical conference "Promising directions for the development of mechanical engineering and metalworking technology. Technology - Equipment - Tool - Quality" will be held as part of the exhibition events on Thursday, April 3. Representatives of BNTU will be one of the organizers of the conference.
The exhibition will run until April 4. During this time, the participants will be able to share valuable experience, engineering developments, and demonstrate the scientific power of domestic industrial enterprises.
