Today, on November 27, a seminar "Sustainable University" for first and second year students was held at the Science and Technology Park of BNTU “Polytechnic” .Speakers were the understudy of the Youth Ambassador of the goals of sustainable development, a student of the Automotive and Tractor Faculty of BNTU Andrey Norik, the youth ambassador Marina Voronova, the Volunteer of BSU Vladislav Grigoruk, the understudy of the Youth Ambassador Ekaterina Bobko, the understudy of the Youth Ambassador Karolina Timofeeva.
The speakers at the seminar told the children about the concept of the Sustainable Development Goals, gave examples of successful practices in Belarus and the world in general.To consolidate their knowledge, the students took part in an interactive game, during which they had to explain the importance of the goals that came across in the process of drawing lots.
After the interactive session, the speakers continued the lecture program on the SDG directions. The students, in turn, asked questions to the ambassadors and understudies, and also discussed with them real-life examples of initiatives to achieve goals.
We thank the speakers for the useful and interesting event and wish its participants fruitful work on the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.
