The conference has become a platform for the exchange of scientific and pedagogical experience in the field of modern linguistics and linguodidactics representatives of higher educational institutions of five countries of the world, including scientists and teachers from Russia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, China and Belarus.
The conference was opened by BNTU vice-rector for academic work Y. A. Nikolaychik. The dean of the Faculty of International Cooperation P. I. Shirvel and head of the department "Belarusian and Russian languages" I. V. Budko addressed a welcoming speech to all participants.
At the plenary session, reports were made by famous Russian and Belarusian scientists. E. M. Afanasieva, chief researcher of the design scientific laboratory innovative facilities of teaching the Russian language of the State Institute of the Russian Language; A. S. Pushkina presented her monograph; N. V. Basko, Associate Professor of the Moscow State University named after M. V. Lomonosov, known to us as author of the most popular textbook “Russian as a foreign language” itroduced her speech «how to work with foreign students»; V. V. Belyi, Associate Professor of the Department "Belarusian and Russian languages" BNTU, invited the attention of the participants a report on the culture of speech in the context of bilingualism in Belarus; L. A. Girutskaya, senior lecturer of the department, devoted her speech to the concept "conscience" in Belarusian phraseological units and aphorisms. Speakers acquainted the participants of the Conference with the results of their scientific and teaching activities, noted the most relevant methods work on teaching languages, drew attention to the importance interdisciplinary aspect of teaching, outlined modern trends in the development of linguistics and literary criticism to help language teachers.
The general problem field of the Conference contained the most important current issues of language teaching: what you need to know about the language, other than the language itself, to teach it? Can the facts of history and culture of the people to contribute to linguodidactic goals and objectives? What innovative methods and techniques cause the fastest assimilation material? These and other problems formed the basis of the reports at the meetings sections.
It was possible to become a participant of the Conference not only in the format offline, but also online - the event was broadcast through the platform Microsoft Teams.
Online sections worked within the framework of topics highlighting the problems teaching languages in the conditions of modern educational space.
So, information technology to help teachers and students lecturers of the Turkmen architectural and building institute. With different judgments about the role of IT in learning languages, all speakers agreed that live communication between teacher and student is the most important and integral part of the system of successful knowledge acquisition.
In the remote section "Actual problems of teaching Russian as a foreign language in Chinese audience” was attended by 5 speakers from Shenyang Institute of Technology (PRC). Among them is our colleague in the department senior lecturer Zh. A. Pushkina, currently carrying out in China, the mission of a conductor of the Russian language. The reports were devoted such important issues in teaching Russian as a foreign language, such as ethno-cultural features of Chinese students, differences in the phonetic system of Russian and Chinese, online learning, using of the national corpus Russian language, etc. BNTU and STU teachers shared with each other methodological developments, discussed ways to solve tasks, outlined prospects for mutual cooperation. Completed the section student Zhang Wanyi who made a presentation on the problems teaching speaking in Russian and listening to Russian speech.
The conference has finiched, in order to reconvene after some time professionals from around the world under the roof of the Belarusian National Technical University.
Based on the results of the III International Scientific and Practical Conference "Ethnocultural and sociolinguistic aspects in theory and practice Language Teaching in Non-Humanities Universities” a collection will be published conference materials.
