From February 27 to March 1, Vitebsk hosted the competitions of the Republican Universiade in winter all-around “Health
In the overall standings:
• first place - Belarusian National Technical University
• second place - Vitebsk State Technological University
• third place – Vitebsk State University named after Masherov
The sports program for the winter all-around "Health" includes four exercises: air rifle shooting, long jumps from a place, flexion-extension of the arms in a lying position (women) and pull-ups on the crossbar (men), and cross-country skiing at distances of 3 km (women) ) and 5 km (men). The winners are determined in the individual championship among men and women and in the team standings among the HEIs.
The BNTU team was represented by: Kirill Safronov (Sports and Technical Faculty), Vladislav Boyarinov (Faculty of Information Technology and Robotics), Denis Titov (Sports and Technical Faculty), Roman Ogorodnik (Faculty of Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship), Roman Deryuga (Military Technical Faculty), Sergey Markushov (Instrument Engineering Faculty), Polina Bykadorova (Faculty of Management Technologies and Humanitarianism), Anastasia Chepyzhova (Automotive Faculty), Anna Shimanovich (Sports and Technical Faculty), Karina Lauri (Architectural Faculty).
In individual exercises, the best were: Anastasia Chepyzhova (Automotive and Tractor Faculty) in shooting and Sergey Markushov (Instrument Engineering Faculty) in standing jump
In the individual standings among girls in the sum of all types, our Bykadorova Polina (Faculty of Management Technologies and Humanitarianism) took 3rd place.
The team coach is the senior lecturer of the Department of Sport Anzhela Nikolaevna Koltunova.
