Congratulations to the BNTU winter all-around team on the victory in the Republican Universiade!
From February 16 to February 18, Vitebsk hosted the competitions of the Republican Universiade in winter all-around "Health", in which 9 teams from higher education institutions took part.
The sports program for the winter all-around "Health" includes four exercises: air rifle shooting, long jumps from a place, flexion-extension of the arms in a lying position (women) and pull-ups on the crossbar (men), and cross-country skiing at distances of 3 km (women) ) and 5 km (men). Each athlete, based on the results of performances, scores points in each exercise, which are then summed up for the overall standings. Accurate shooting brings the most points. The winners are determined in the individual championship among men and women and in the team standings among the HEIs.
In the overall standings:
• first place - BNTU;
• second place - BRU;
• third place - VSTU.

In the individual standings, in the sum of four exercises, the best of our men was a 3rd year STF student Kirill Safronov and took 3rd place.
Our girls successfully performed in separate exercises:
Anna Kontsevaya (FTUG undergraduate) took 1st place in shooting,
Maria Vutto (AF) in the standing long jump with a score of 230 cm - 1st place, Alina Terekhova (PSF) stopped a step away from the podium in the individual championship in the sum of four exercises and took 4th place.
