The department was founded in 2004 .

Heads of the department:

  • From 2004 to 2006 , acting Head of the Department - PhD in Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of the Republic of Belarus, Academician of the International Academy of Information Technologies, Judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus Shishko Georgy Borisovich .
  • From February 21, 2006 to February 22, 2009 - Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Brovka Gennady Mikhailovich .
  • From 2009 to 2010 , acting head of the department - candidate of economic sciences, associate professor Moiseenko Evgeny Grigorievich .
  • From 2010 to 2016 - candidate of legal sciences, associate professor Sinkov Boris Borisovich .
  • From 2016 to 2023- Doctor of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Golubtsova Elena Stanislavovna .
  • Since 2023 - candidate of economic sciences Mazanik Yulia Mikhaylaina.

Future specialists receive knowledge in the field of economic and legal support of customs activities, currency regulation, information and customs technologies, customs clearance and control, development of technical means of customs control as part of the customs infrastructure.

Graduates of the specialty "Customs" have the opportunity to work as specialists of various levels in the system of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus, as well as specialists in customs clearance for business entities in the departments of foreign economic activity.

Form of education: full-time , budget / paid . The term of study is 4 years.

Enrollment is based on the results of centralized testing in Russian / Belarusian language, foreign language, mathematics .

The objects of professional activity of a certified specialist with the qualification "Customs Specialist" are:

  • control over compliance with legislation in the field of customs affairs, foreign economic activity, taxation, currency regulation;
  • timely full payment of customs and other payments to the state budget;
  • development and adoption of measures to prevent and suppress offenses in the foreign economic sphere and customs activities;
  • foreign economic activity of business entities;
  • scientific activity in the field of economic security, foreign economic activity, customs legal relations.

The first issue was made in 2008 .

Since 2008 , specialists have been trained in the second stage of higher education (master's degree).

In 2012 , a practice-oriented master's program was opened in the specialty 1-26 81 02 "Innovation Management" . The last graduation of undergraduates in the specialty 1-26 81 02 "Innovative Management" took place in June 2020 .

In 2019 , a scientific master's program was opened in the specialty "Management" , profiling " Innovation Management ". Graduate qualification " Master ". Duration of study: full-time - 1 year, part-time - 1.5 years.

Entrance examinations are held in the following disciplines: " Management ", " Economics of the organization (enterprise) ".
