The literary and poetic competition "Muse in a technical interior" has been held at BNTU since 2012. Participants of the competition: students, undergraduates, graduate students, employees of BNTU, - authors of poems and songs, masters of the word and lovers of literary creativity.
The organizers of the competition are the department of cultural affairs, the department "History of the Belarusian statehood", the trade union committee of workers and the trade union committee of students of BNTU.
Literary works in 4 genres (poetry, prose, journalism, art song) are submitted to the competition and are evaluated in the following nominations:
- reader / performer (performer of a vocal or literary work of another author from among the participants in the competition) ;
- author ( the author of a vocal or literary work performed by a reader as part of a competitive program or presented only in printed form. );
- singer-songwriter (performer of songs or literary works of his own composition.).
The works are evaluated by a professional jury, which includes famous poets, writers and prose writers, laureates of numerous literary awards, members of the Union of Writers of Belarus.
