Профилактическая встреча по предупреждению ДТП прошла на ФИТР

On May 5, 2026, a meeting was held for first-year Software Engineering students from groups 10701125, 10701225, and 10701325 with Vitaly Anatolyevich Neverovsky, Deputy Head of the Inquiry Department of the Traffic Police of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee, Lieutenant Colonel of Police. The event was devoted to an important topic: the prevention of road traffic accidents.During the meeting, students were reminded of the importance of strictly following traffic rules. Special attention was paid to safe behavior for pedestrians, passengers, cyclists, and users of personal mobility devices. The Traffic Police representative emphasized that road safety depends not only on vehicle drivers, but also on the responsibility of every road user.

One of the most actively discussed topics was safety when riding bicycles and scooters. Students asked many questions about traffic rules, choosing a safe route, using protective equipment, and behaving near roads and pedestrian crossings. It was noted that bicycles and scooters are becoming increasingly popular among young people, which makes it especially important to know and follow the established rules.

The discussion also covered the main causes of road traffic accidents. Vitaly Anatolyevich pointed out that inattention, rushing, using a mobile phone while moving, and ignoring road signs and traffic lights can lead to serious consequences. Students were reminded to stay attentive on the road, cross the street only in designated places, and use reflective elements in the dark.

The meeting was held in the form of a lively dialogue and proved to be useful and informative for every student. The audience showed great interest and actively took part in the discussion. A particularly large number of questions concerned riding bicycles and scooters, which demonstrated how relevant this issue is for modern young people. Such preventive events help develop a responsible attitude toward personal safety and the safety of others.
