The admissions campaign for international students is in full swing at the Belarusian National Technical University.

The introductory educational internship for first-year students of Group 10301425 at the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at BNTU was aimed at consolidating the knowledge acquired during the first semester and developing basic computer-aided design skills. The students learned the fundamentals of 3D modeling, worked with drawings of parts and assemblies, and practiced creating views, sections, and cross-sections. Particular attention was paid to individual modeling assignments and internship report preparation. The internship contributed to the development of professional skills and increased the students’ interest in modern digital technologies in mechanical engineering.

On July 9, the Digital Engineering Competence Center of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering hosted a student delegation from the Saint Petersburg Mining University.

As part of their introductory practical training, first-year students of the Department of Software for Information Systems and Technologies visited Minsk Bearing Plant OJSC. During the tour, they learned about production processes, modern equipment, and the use of information technologies at the enterprise.

With an official visit the complex was visited by a delegation of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Belarus.

During the meeting, the deans of the faculties will provide detailed information about passing grades, selection criteria and the competition for the specialty.

We talked with the students and found out how their internships at Minsk enterprises are going.

The BNTU FITR team took part in the International ICPC Training Camp held in Tashkent from July 5 to 13, 2026. The students participated in daily five-hour contests, analyzed complex algorithmic problems, and exchanged experience with teams from other countries.
