The 2026 target admissions campaign was challenging, with competition for some programs reaching eight applicants per place. Therefore, failing to qualify in such a competitive environment is completely normal. The key now is to avoid panic and quickly move on to the next stage of the admissions campaign.
Step 1: Collect your target contract and documents
The first thing you need to do is promptly return your documents from the admissions office of your faculty. If you are already 18 years old, your documents will be delivered in person. However, if you are under 18, you can only collect them in the presence of your parents or legal guardians.
Step 2: Resubmit your documents promptly
The main advantage is that you don't need to retake the exams; your CE/CT scores remain valid and may allow you to enroll in the same or a related program through the general competition for either a state-funded or fee-paying program.
On the following application days, the BNTU admissions office will be open from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM:
Applications for budget-funded studies – from July 12 to 17;
Applications for fee-paying programs requiring entrance examinations at BNTU – from July 12 to 17;
Applications for fee-paying programs without internal exams – from July 12 to August 1 (July 26 is a day off).
Important! Applicants to the Military-Technical Faculty have separate application and admission deadlines; these can be found in the detailed schedule on the Admissions Office website.
Step 3: Assess your chances and choose a specialty
Don't limit yourself to just one specialty. If you realize you might not have enough points in the general competition for your desired specialty, feel free to consider related programs within the same faculty or explore other programs.
