On Saturday, May 16, the Belarusian National Technical University will once again open its doors to prospective students and their parents. This open day will be the final one of the 2025/26 academic year. Guests can look forward to a rich program: exhibitions, master classes, tours, consultations, meetings with companies that hire staff, and much more.
Starting at 9:00 AM, an exhibition of BNTU faculties and companies that hire staff will open in the courtyard of the main building (65 Nezavisimosti Ave.). Here, everyone will be able to learn about the educational process, in-demand specialties, and ask questions to faculty representatives.
A grand opening ceremony will take place at 9:30 AM, setting the tone for the entire day. Following the ceremony, guests will enjoy interactive quests, quizzes, master classes, career guidance testing, and a raffle for university merchandise. An Admissions Committee stand and career guidance area will also be open. Photo zones will also be set up, allowing guests to capture unforgettable moments of their university visit.
At the interactive venues, applicants will immerse themselves in the world of engineering and choose their future profession. The event also includes performances by cadets of the Military-Technical Faculty in hand-to-hand combat and creative teams from the Department of Cultural Affairs.
Applicants will take tours of the faculties and receive consultations on the subjects of "Creativity," "Drawing," "Composition," "Vertical Engineering," and "Painting." University staff will also provide individual consultations on Russian, Belarusian, and English, material science, and physics, as well as on the subjects "Fundamentals of Engineering Graphics," "Materials Science and Technology," "Construction Materials and Products," "Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering," "Information Technology," "Organizational Economics, Management Fundamentals," "Fundamentals of Algorithms and Programming," and "Occupational Safety, Environmental Protection, and Energy Saving."
Meetings with the management of MAZ OJSC and representatives of the companies that employ the students will be a key event for the students.
Cupboards and a field kitchen will be available on the university campus, ensuring everyone will be able to refresh themselves and recharge.
