Today, April 3, the Belarusian National Technical University hosted a delegation from Inner Mongolia University of Technology.
The delegation included Jianqiang Duan, Doctor, Professor, and International Cooperation Coordinator of the Inner Mongolia University of Technology; Zou Dezhi, Deputy Dean of the Inner Mongolia University of Technology's Faculty of Architecture; and Sun Haosheng, a graduate student in the Inner Mongolia University of Technology's Faculty of Architecture. Dean of the Faculty of Architecture Yuri Chanturia, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Architecture Natalia Shulyakovskaya, Head of the Department of Drawing, Watercolor, and Sculpture Ksenia Polyakova, Head of the Department of Theory and History of Architecture Mikhail Kitaev, and fourth-year architecture student Margarita Tkachuk participated in the negotiations with their international colleagues.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed the implementation of the roadmap signed in January 2026. Key areas of cooperation include the development of a Russian-Chinese-Mongolian dictionary of architectural and construction terminology and joint training courses on the preservation and renewal of architectural heritage.
Meeting participants also discussed the participation of BNTU students in a summer school at the Technical University of Management, the organization of joint student competitions, and the exchange of experience between faculty members. Special attention was paid to the prospect of creating a joint "One Belt, One Road" laboratory in the field of energy and sustainable development of human settlements.
As part of the visit, Professor Jianqiang Duan's Faculty of Architecture hosted a series of open lectures from April 2 to 6. Today, students continued their introduction to contemporary trends in Chinese architecture and cultural heritage preservation.
The meeting marked an important step in developing international cooperation and allowed them to identify key areas for future joint work.
