Today, on February 15, the 22nd International Specialized exhibition "Education and Career" continued at the BelExpo exhibition Center. As already noted, the program of the second day was filled not only with interesting lectures and master classes, but also with large-scale presentations of educational institutions.


A large-scale event "Profession of an engineer" was held on the main stage. From dream to reality": advantages of studying in specialized engineering classes", where applicants could learn about the mentioned profession, how to get it, and about famous engineers of various industries in an interactive form.

Sergey Vyazovich, an engineer, head of the MAZ-SPORTauto sports team, silver medalist and first Belarusian in the Dakar 2018 rally final and bronze medalist of the Dakar 2020 truck class, racing driver, made a presentation on the training of specialists in the field of mechanical engineering.
– I have been working at the company since 2003. The team only appeared in 2010, so at that time no one could have imagined what this could lead to. To date, our team consists of at least six people, and all the design bureaus are graduates of BNTU," said the head of the MAZ-SPORTauto team.

At the same time, a session of simultaneous blind chess was held in the conference hall of the exhibition complex. The bravest applicants had the opportunity to compete with chess champions, BNTU students Maxim Tsaruk and Alexandra Tarasenko.
– Success is not an accident, it is the result of painstaking work done, – Maxim Tsaruk emphasized.

As a result of intense mental struggle, the students of the Polytechnic University won. Maxim fought with his eyes closed against two opponents at once. Alexandra managed to play with 12 competitors during this time.

The participants of the musical groups of the BNTU Department of Cultural Affairs showed how closely creativity and the profession of an engineer are connected. The event was decorated by the soloists of the vocal and pop studio "The Soul in Love", as well as Ilya Prokopovich, a graduate of the Faculty of Mining and Environmental Engineering, known to everyone as Martwin. Ilya performed his own original hits, which the guys sang along with pleasure, and shared how often you can find engineering in the fields around us.


A pleasant surprise from the organizers was the sweet gifts for the participants of the exhibition, which they were able to receive after registering. Since the exhibition is dedicated to engineering, applicants also received "engineering" chocolate.

Consolidating information about the engineering profession and its acquisition, the BNTU presentation event began its work on the main stage. The presenters presented information about the university, its specialties and vibrant student life.

All this time, there was a real excitement at the BNTU stand. Applicants and their parents actively approached and asked questions about studying at both BNTU and BNTU Lyceum, engineering classes.
