Currently, the total number of young scientists at BNTU is 446 people.
In 2024, representatives of the BNTU Council of Young Scientists (CYS) participated in 30 international and scientific-practical conferences and competitions, including the 13th Forum of Universities of Engineering and Technology of the Union State, held at the International Exhibition “Russia” (Moscow); the Youth Forum in Uzbekistan (Tashkent, Samarkand); and the 12th All-Russian Congress of Councils of Young Scientists and Student Scientific Societies (Vladivostok).
The activities of the BNTU CYS are aimed at promoting and strengthening youth engagement in the Republic of Belarus. Throughout 2024, master classes were held for participants of the republican stage of the “100 Ideas for Belarus” competition and for students of the National Children's Technopark. From March to May 2024, representatives of the BNTU CYS conducted 24 career guidance events for students of secondary schools, gymnasiums, and lyceums across the Republic of Belarus on the topic “The Path to Science, from School Student to Young Scientist.”
In addition, representatives of the BNTU CYS organized a number of popular science events, including the “Engineering Relay”, the QuizScience scientific and technical quiz, the “Year of Quality” quiz, Science Festival 2024, Professions Festival 2024, and others.
