Since 1920, the Belarusian National Technical University has been a leader in technical education in Belarus. We believe that engineering education is the key to a sustainable future. The results of our work motivate students and staff to engage in real-world, socially oriented and publicly significant projects where they can help individuals and contribute to the development of their community, city, industry, and country. BNTU strives to be a university that not only trains specialists but also fosters a responsible generation of engineers capable of addressing today's global challenges.
We believe that engineering knowledge should be based on reliable data, verifiable methods, and independent expertise.
BNTU is a community where every member of the university is committed to the success of others. We cultivate a culture of mentoring, teamwork, and interfaculty collaboration.
Our graduates are responsible for technical decisions that impact the lives of millions of people. We demand high qualifications and ethical responsibility from every student and employee.
We combat academic dishonesty and support the transparency of all educational and scientific processes.
BNTU is focused on developing technologies that contribute to a reduced environmental impact, energy efficiency, and a circular economy.
We train specialists who understand their role in the development of the national economy and society.
BNTU integrates the UN Sustainable Development Goals into its educational, scientific, and management activities. The National Sustainable Development Strategy of Belarus to 2040 incorporates the SDGs, taking into account national interests. In striving for sustainable development, we aim to maximize the effectiveness of each SDG target and achieve worthy results.

With the goal of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as soon as possible, including Goals 12 and 13, and supporting the country's commitments to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and recognizing the importance of these commitments, the Belarusian National Technical University annually develops a list of measures to improve energy efficiency and reduce the specific consumption of fuel and energy resources, thereby contributing to the fight against climate change.
The university runs a program to train Youth Ambassadors for the Sustainable Development Goals. BNTU students participate in intensive training courses and develop their own projects in the fields of ecology, energy conservation, and sustainable development. Over the years, students from the Belarusian National Technical University have been honored to represent the team of Sustainable Development Goal Youth Ambassadors, demonstrating best practices in engaging youth in the global agenda.
