The ranking has been compiled by the Russian organization RUR since 2010 and covers more than 1,100 higher education institutions from 82 countries around the world.

On November 25-26, the QS Eurasia Forum 2025 was held in Tashkent (Republic of Uzbekistan). The event, organized by the world leader in educational analytics, QS Quacquarelli Symonds, at Central Asian University (CAU), has become a large-scale platform for the exchange of experience between the leaders of the academic community of Eurasia. Representatives of the Belarusian National Technical University (BNTU) took part in the forum.
