BNTU repository improves its position in the global repository rankings

Репозиторий БНТУ улучшил позиции в мировом рейтинге репозиториев

The repository of the Belarusian National Technical University has improved its position in the global ranking of Transparent Ranking of Repositories in the March 2026 edition of the rating

In the general list (all repositories), which includes 4,639 repositories, electronic archives, and electronic libraries, the BNTU repository rose to 23rd place, in the list of institutional repositories - to 14th place among 4,493 other resources.

The Transparent Ranking of Repositories, like the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities, is an initiative of the Cybermetrics Lab research group. Its methodology is based on an indicator of the number of documents hosted in open access repositories and indexed by Google Scholar. This evaluates the degree of openness of academic resources and their integration into the information space. The BNTU repository has been generated since 2012. Currently, it includes more than 139,454 documents: monographs, methodological manuals, electronic teaching materials, textbooks and manuals, scientific articles, research reports, dissertations, dissertations, patents, conference materials, graphic works, competitive and exhibition projects, etc.
