Educational work at the Belarusian National Technical University is given great importance. Everyone's contribution to it's invaluable and certainly doesn’t remain without attention. Today we are talking about 10 the most significant achievements in the direction of educational work of the university.

Lives saved

Both employees and students of the university showed their courage in 2023. And they showed it not only in word, but also in deed showing courage when saving people on the water.

For the courage and determination shown in saving a man on the water, Associate Professor of Technical operation of vehicles, Automative and Tractor Faculty V.M. Izoitko was awarded the gratitude of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus.

Students of the branch BNTU “Zhlobin State Metallurgical College” Roman Starosotnikov, Maxim Reutsky, Konstantin Tikhomirov, Artemiy Rudkovsky for saving drowning people on the water they were awarded diplomas of the BNTU.

Beauty, culture and determination

The diverse development of young people is also part of the educational process. BNTU students showed their skills and the best qualities in beauty contests, student creativity and volunteer activities.

Nadezhda Tolstikova – a student of the Faculty of Transport Communications, became the winner of “Miss Minsk 2023” contest, and also the winner of the title "Miss top model" of the XIII National Beauty Contest "Miss Belarus".

Student of the Faculty of Marketing, Management, Entrepreneurship Arina Kolesova became the winner of the Republican contest "Student of the Year – 2023: way to transform" in the nomination "Student of the Year – online".

Student of Automative and Tractor Faculty Alexander Romanyuk He became the winner of the Republican contest "Volunteer of the Year – 2023" in the nomination "Personal contribution".

Invaluable contribution to the development of the state

BNTU students make a socially significant, scientific and cultural contribution to the development of their Homeland every day. The following students were awarded for this work.

Head of the Student Council of Faculty of Instrumentation Anastasia Kozulya was awarded the gratitude of the President of the Republic of Belarus.

Students of Architecture Faculty Kamil Agverdiyev and Egor Korol became the winners of the “Minsk Shift 2023” project in the nomination "Cultural and sports sphere".

A member of the volunteer squad Maxim Makhveenya was awarded by the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus the sign “"For your assistance". In addition 10 vigilantes were awarded gratitude of the administration of the Soviet district of Minsk, 1 – gratitude of Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee, 1 – gratitude of Minsk City Council of Deputies.

Teamwork

Teamwork is often the key to high-quality and effective work. Young people develop qualities such as responsibility, communication skills and determination in teamwork.

Primary organization of «BRSM» Military Technical Faculty recognized as the best primary organization among the military faculties of civil universities of the Republic of Belarus.

BNTU Labor Affairs Headquarters and three student teams of BNTU are recognized as the best among the headquarters and teams of higher education institutions in Minsk. In total 1,670 people took part in the student movement in 2023.
