The delegation of Qingdao Agrarian University visited the Belarusian National Technical University

Negotiations with representatives of Qingdao Agricultural University (QAU)  took place at the Scientific and Technological Park of BNTU "Polytechnic".

The Belarusian National Technical University was represented by Rector Sergei Kharytonchyk, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Yuri Nikolaychik, Dean of the Faculty of International Cooperation Pavel Shirvel, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Andrey Safonov, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and Robotics Andrey Avsievich, Dean of the Automotive and Tractor Faculty Tsimur Matsiushynets, leading specialist of the Faculty of International Cooperation Sergey Borisevich.

The Chinese side was represented by the Secretary of the QAU Party Committee Guo Shanli, the Director of the International Cooperation Department of the QAU Xu Ying, the Deputy Dean of the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of the QAU Wang Jiangsheng, the Assistant Director and Translator of the International Cooperation Department of the CAU Du Kun, the Head of the International Cooperation Department Xue Wenshen, the Director of “Eurasian development campaign" Hou Yabo, director of Penghao Liuxue LLC Gu Penghao.

Traditionally, the meeting began with a visit to the exhibition of the Scientific and Technological Park of BNTU "Polytechnic". The guests carefully got acquainted with the activities of the organization and the developments of scientists of our university.

Then the meeting continued at the negotiating table, where the parties presented the activities of their educational institutions and discussed promising areas of cooperation. Among the topical issues were the following:

• discussion of the details of the implementation of the joint educational program "2+2";
• sending CAU graduates and teachers to continue their studies under master’s and postgraduate programs at BNTU;
• search for areas of joint scientific research.

During the negotiations, it was decided to create a working group, which will include the deans of the Mechanical Engineering  and Automotive and Tractor faculties, the Faculty of Information Technology and Robotics. They will develop curricula and prepare documents for the coordination of joint educational programs.

Following the meeting, the parties signed an agreement on the implementation of a joint integrated educational program under the "2+2" scheme.

The presentation of memorable souvenirs was a pleasant end to the meeting.
